Interview with Joem

I recently interviewed Finnish singer-songwriter Johanna Makila-Manninen, better known as Joem, for my podcast!

We connected on Instagram a few months ago and struck up a quick friendship.

I have been delighted to see her release new music and welcome her onto my podcast where we spoke about creativity, her journey so far and plans for the future.

Joem released her newest single ‘Copper Ground’ at the end of January and it is a beautiful song. Listen out for the almost ethereal harmonies in the second verse!
